Andrew Garfield should win BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE...
i haven't seen 127 hours, the king's speech, black swan, true grit and the fighter too.
but i'm torn between toy story 3 and the social network for best pic - ts3 because it affected me most emotionally but it being animated and a sequel... not a chance, methinks.
harry brown was seriously intense. i remember watching an interview michael caine did in which he talked about how he makes himself cry while acting. it's a memory he carried from the korean war, but he won't divulge what it is precisely. i kept being reminded of that throughout the film.
it's time mikey caine gets the best actor in a lead role oscar! screw leo!
You must watch Black Swan. It is unlikely to ever grace our screens.
i'm waiting for a bluray rip. the sad thing is i'd pay to see it in theatres in a heartbeat (perhaps several times as i frequently do when i like a film) if they actually screen it.
so basically, this is the rehashing of the 10 films you seen this year in different permutations. This list is pretty lacking.
Well, first of all, I'm not done watching the movies of 2011 as you can probably tell, and secondly, I actually think my list here is already showing more latitude and diversity than your average Oscar nominations where, yes, the same films kept getting nominated for the other categories.
